Tongren municipal media published a September 4, 2026 site report on the Guizhou section of the Tongren-Jishou Railway, saying the 2.45-kilometer Baoziying grand bridge had entered superstructure work and had erected 24 of its 76 box girders after a September 3 site visit. The report says crews were using heavy modular transport-and-erection equipment and an intelligent dispatching system to coordinate beam precasting, transport and erection.

The Hunan provincial government published an August 30, 2026 Hunan Daily photo report that bridge-girder erection was under way at the Hu-Kun grand bridge on August 29. The report says China Railway No. 4 Engineering Group has completed all 524 precast box girders for Shaoyong Railway Lot 1 and erected 468 spans, equal to 89.3% of the total.
